Cavalor LaminAid

Cavalor LaminAid is recommended for sensitive hooves caused by metabolic problems (laminitis). It works at several levels in the body to tackle, in an integrated way, the metabolic disorders that can lead to symptoms of laminitis: it supports the sensitive gut flora, rebalances hormonal and metabolic processes and supports blood circulation, improving blood flow to the hoof.

A blend of essential oils

Cavalor LaminAid works through a combination of essential oils with the following properties:

• Pain-relieving: monoterpenes such as limonene and linalool
• Antibacterial: including carvacrol, eugenol, thymol, geraniol and citronellal
• Antioxidant: powerful free-radical scavengers such as flavonoids and phenols
• Supports blood circulation: promotes the flexibility of red blood cells
• Supports metabolism: positive effect on fat and insulin metabolism
• Supports digestion: counteracts undesirable gut bacteria and promotes healthy fermentation
• Anti-inflammatory: including terpinen-4-ol, eugenol, neral and geranial

Laminitis is a complex condition that is often linked to digestive problems and a disturbed metabolism. Cavalor LaminAid helps keep the gut flora in balance, promotes digestion and supports various essential organs and tissues. Field-tested

In a field study, 20 horses and ponies with mild to moderate laminitis received LaminAid daily for 4 weeks (50 ml per day), together with a hoof oil containing essential oils. Some animals also received an adapted diet. Very positive results were achieved.

• Day 1: 2 x 50 ml
• From day 2: 2 x 25 ml
• For preventive or long-term use (30 days or more): 2 x 10 ml
