How does UC-II work?

Collagen type II is the main protein in cartilage and provides strength and tensile strength. When cartilage is damaged, the body may see this collagen as foreign. The immune system then attacks it, causing further cartilage damage.

In most supplements, collagen type II is heated or chemically processed. Flexadin UC II contains a pure form with an unchanged structure. This teaches the body to recognise it again, reducing the immune reaction against the cartilage. This has a positive effect on the joints and helps your horse move smoothly.

Suitable for

• Sport horses whose joints are heavily loaded by intensive training or during the competition season
• Active young horses, to keep joints healthy
• Horses with joint problems

Dosage

• First 12 weeks: 1.5 scoops (15 g) per day
• After that: 1 scoop (10 g) per day

Give Flexadin UC II daily in the feed. The first improvement is usually visible after 4 to 6 weeks. If you see no results after 16 weeks, continuing is unlikely to help.
