Pavo Colostrum for foals 150 g

The mare's first milk is called colostrum. It contains many antibodies that protect the foal against infections in its first months. Pavo Colostrum is a replacement for foals that receive too little or no colostrum from their mare.

Good to know

• If the mare dies during or right after foaling, try to milk as much colostrum as possible from the udder and give it to the foal with a bottle
• If something goes wrong with the mare or foal during birth, always call the vet immediately: time is a key factor in improving survival chances
• Never heat colostrum in the microwave, as this destroys the antibodies
