Roughage is the foundation
High-quality roughage rich in structural fibre is the foundation of every horse’s diet, but that is not always easy. Sometimes you need to supplement or (partly) replace traditional roughage (hay or haylage), for example when dental problems make it hard for your horse to eat roughage, or when the roughage is of lower quality.
100% natural grass nuggets
Pavo FibreNuggets are made from 100% meadow grass from the foothills of the Alps in southern Germany. The fragrant, tasty grass contains more than 60 different grasses and herbs and is rich in fibre.
- Grain-free, without molasses or other added sugars
- Very low in sugar and starch: suitable for horses sensitive to sugar and grain
- Dust-free and consistent quality thanks to controlled drying: ideal for horses sensitive to dust
Soaked or dry?
These FibreNuggets are fed soaked (as a mash). Does your horse have good teeth? Then you can also choose Pavo FibreNuggets Hard: hard-pressed grass nuggets that you can feed dry. Both are hay cobs; only the way of feeding differs.
