Pavo E’lyte Liquid was previously called Pavo ReHydrate. The product has a different colour and the composition has changed only minimally; the result is the same.

When horses sweat, they lose not only fluid but also many body salts, such as sodium, chloride and potassium. These salts are called electrolytes. If they are not replenished in time, dehydration and a negative electrolyte balance are lurking, resulting in reduced willingness to work and lack of energy.

Replenishing electrolytes in horses

Pavo E’lyte Liquid is a liquid electrolyte supplement with all the important body salts for horses. It stimulates thirst (water intake) and restores the electrolyte balance. For optimal absorption, Pavo E’lyte Liquid is enriched with a high level of dextrose. Dextrose tastes good and helps the muscles recover and replenish energy: the perfect combination to get your horse fit and fresh again quickly after exercise.

Recommended daily amount

• Light exercise: horse (600 kg) 40 ml, pony (300 kg) 20 ml
• Moderate exercise: horse (600 kg) 60 ml, pony (300 kg) 30 ml
• Heavy exercise, heavy sweating and dehydration: horse (600 kg) 80 ml, pony (300 kg) 40 ml

Use

Mix Pavo E’lyte Liquid into the feed, give it directly into the mouth or dissolve it in drinking water (1 litre of water per 20 ml E’lyte Liquid). Always provide enough cool, clean, fresh drinking water.
